I studied music very seriously as kid growing up. I played alto saxophone with a focus on jazz and classical. So, music has always been a big part of my life. Along the way, I managed to produce a few music projects featuring the talents of independent artists.
I produced this record titled Take Two in 2008 for a music wellness program sponsored by healthcare giant Kaiser Permanente. It featured ten songs from ten independent artists including the great Ozomatli and was given to thousands of its employees and patients.
I produced one of the first examples of branded entertainment in 1998 for a company called MacTemps, now Aquent. As a creative placement agency, the MacTemps Jams record featured the musical and artistic talents of 20 company employees. All music, branding and packaging design was performed and created by company employees. The record received positive national press coverage for its novelty.
In the Nineties, I managed a classic rock band called Full Tilt and produced this demo featuring four original songs.
